Hint on getting to missing images

Sometimes the image is missing. There are two ways to get at these.

Go directly to the normal GIF file

The images are normally presented as a GIF image embedded in an HTML file. For some reason, sometimes the HTML file won't display, resulting in a "The page cannot be found" message. In this case:

  1. Edit both occurences of "html" in the address line of your browser to "gif" (and hit "Enter")
  2. Edit the 4-digit image number before the ".gif" to see other pages.

Get the higher resolution PDF file

For many of these, those images in the series that are present each have a higher resolution image available. When the normal resolution image is missing, follow the following steps to get the higher resolution version of the one that is missing:
  1. Note the image number of the one that is missing (e.g., the 4 numbers just before ".html" in the address bar.
  2. Go to one of the images in the same set that is not missing.
  3. Click on "Enlarge and print image" and wait for pdf to load.
  4. Edit address bar to change image number of this image to the number from step 1 and hit "Enter".
  5. The desired image should display.
  6. You can now edit the address bar for successive images.
